High-quality puzzle, wonderful illustration with absolutely gorgeous colors. Each owl and bird has unique coloring so it's like many puzzles in one. For us it was challenging without being frustrating--truly fun. We only wished the puzzle map had been larger, especially for the price paid--it was high-quality paper and printing but too small to be very helpful. There's also one bird at the top left where it looks like the artist forgot to finish its legs (minor issue). All in all I recommend this one, especially if you love owls/birds and vibrant colors and appreciate high quality puzzles.
Owls have been a really hot subject matter for puzzlers over the last few years. This particular puzzle is a great contribution to the genre. I particularly love the explosion of color around the owls and wonderful variety of colors and patterns in this image. The quality of the puzzle pieces in this puzzle is quite good. There were no piece issues and every piece fits only in one place. The pieces fit snugly and you can move chunks of pieces at one time. There is a helpful poster to use as a guide. I would say this puzzle is moderately-challenging. There are parts that are easy to sort and assemble by color and pattern and then some parts that are a bit harder and take a bit longer. We chose this puzzle to assemble during our puzzle week and it took two puzzlers about 8 hours to complete this one. I have multiple friends who were quite interested in this image once they saw it and I imagine it will be a good seller with such appealing art. I am enjoying the consistent quality of this brand.
